Our Approach To Care

Phase 1: Diagnosing and Treating the Problem
Fix your pain without medications or surgery so you can get back to life, work, or sports. Pain can be stressful, so our goal is to identify the cause of your pain and provide natural relief.

Phase 2: Returning to Activity and Building Resilience to Injury
Decreasing chances of injury, and making you more resilient when you do get injured, is very important to us. We want patients to feel empowered so that they can take control of their health outside of the office.

Phase 3: Performance and Wellness Care
Most high-level athletes have consistent care throughout the year to maximize their health, and performance. Why shouldn't you take care of your body too? Routine care is an affordable and effective way to maintain mobility, prevent pain and perform better throughout the year!

What to Expect At our office
Assessment

At Rose City Sport and Spine, we will thoroughly evaluate your current condition, as well as your overall health history. In many cases, your health history plays an important role in determining why a problem started and how we can work together to fix it.

After your new patient assessment, your chiropractor will create a treatment plan that is based on the history, exam findings and your individual goals. In some cases, patients may need advanced imaging or diagnostic tests to rule out underlying conditions. Once we have a plan, it's up to you to decide if you're ready to start your healing journey!

Treatment

At our office, most treatment plans include chiropractic adjustments, laser therapy, or shockwave therapy to reduce pain and improve range of motion. We also include exercises to help you maintain your progress and strengthen the appropriate muscles.
With most patients, we start out with more frequent visits initially and then taper-off as you improve. On average, many patients see significant improvements in their pain levels within 6-8 visits. If we're not seeing the expected improvements, we have great referral networks with local orthopedic specialists to ensure that you get better. If we do refer you, we'll send you with a patient progress report so whoever you see knows exactly what we've done at our office and can use that to make the best clinical decisions for you!

Insurance, packages, and self-pay patients

Just like your family doctor wouldn't prescribe 1 or 2 antibiotic capsules and hope that your infection miraculously improves, we don't treat people once or twice and hope they magically get better! In many cases an initial treatment plan of about 6 to 8 visits is used to reduce pain and improve mobility so that you have longer lasting results.

We are an in-network provider for Highmark, Capital, Aetna, and Medicare plans. Even if you don't have insurance, or have a plan that we're not in-network with, our self pay rates are still reasonable and manageable. Certain services, like shockwave and laser therapy, can be more affordable with our package options!

Packages usually consist of 6-8 visits and range anywhere from $360-$720. If you can't pay for the entire package upfront, let us know! We can provide different payment options so you can get the care you need. If your issue improves quicker than expected, those visits can be utilized throughout the remainder of the year for maintenance care!
